August is just around the corner and we know what that means.
BACK TO SCHOOL
Hearing these 3 words can bring about different emotions. As a parent, you might feel excited to get back into the swing of things and have structure/routine back for your kids! As a teacher, you hold on tightly to these days of relaxation and freedom, savoring time in the sunshine and moments with your family. When see the back to school supplies flood the store shelves, you shudder to yourself and think, “Already?? How can this be? It feels like I JUST packed up my classroom!”
The beginning of August can feel daunting and depressing at first. I was a teacher for 8 years, so I know the feeling that overcomes you this time of year. But, once you get back into your classroom, it doesn’t take long before those creative juices start flowing. There is a lot of planning and prep needed to get ready for a new school year!
One of the first things to get started on is hallway displays and bulletin boards! Some enjoy this aspect more than others, as it takes time and creativity. So, if you need a jump start, I’ve gathered some great ideas!
THRIFTY THURSDAY: 20 BACK TO SCHOOL BULLETIN BOARDS!
What is Thrifty Thursday you ask? It is when I choose a project, craft, recipe, or activity to share with you all that either I or someone else has developed. Today, I can’t take credit for any of these gems. This is a compilation of boards I’ve come across on Pinterest or the web. If you would like to know more about them, click on the picture and it will direct you to the source!
At the very least, I hope these provide some inspiration and motivate you to start decorating! Some of these displays are intended for specific topics or seasons, but most can be used across all grade levels!

I know I’m getting slightly ahead of myself with a winter bulletin board, but I just had to include this one. Too funny not to share with you all! Because….who doesn’t love a good Elf quote?!
If you have any ideas you would like to share, please email them to me. I would love to add them to this post!
