Mother’s Day Celebration…

I’m coming to realize that the small things in life make up the big things. It’s moments like these that you will remember the rest of your life.  Mother’s Day was this last weekend and it was a time for me to reflect on my wonderful mom and all the other amazing ones out there! I, like many others, have been blessed with an amazing family, but more importantly, with a mama like no other! I especially have realized this over the {Read More}

There is never a perfect time

So, this is something that’s been swirling around in my head for the past month. I’ve continuously thought to myself, “I’ll write when I have something good to say or when I have better pictures to post.” It seems as though I’m always waiting for the perfect time to do something. Yep, I guess you could say she’s a little like me….we both have a mind of our own 🙂 Alexa has autism, but it certainly does not define her. She teaches me more about life than I could ever teach her. She teaches me patience….lots of {Read More}

Passion

My passion is photography. plain. and. simple. There is something about a picture…..without any words….it can tell a story, evoke emotion, and challenge you to think. Think. Think about life and the meaning of it. Think about what is happening in the picture and if you could jump into that little frame, what would you experience or feel? Through photography, I am able to feel empathy, compassion, and see things in new perspectives.  There are moments in your life that {Read More}
