It’s Cyber Monday and the deals are a plenty! Christmas is around the corner and today I’m sharing 10 fun games that everyone in the family can play! Most of these are recommended for kids age 6 and older. Adults can/should play all of these, too. Everyone in our family gets in on the action and we LOVE each of the ones highlighted below!
Some are for the more competitive in nature, while others will require you to strategize well. Some are simple, while others give you a good challenge. Many of them will make you belly laugh and learn a thing or two about other players! But…ALL are guaranteed to provide a whole lot of fun and entertainment!

What an awesome game that focuses on strategy! My 6 and 8 year old both love playing Qwirkle! We bring this along on family vacations so everyone can join the fun, including grandma, grandpa, aunts/uncles & cousins, too. We love that both kids and adults can get in on the action!
Our nephew first led us to Labyrinth and it’s been a hit ever since we first played! This another great game that promotes strategic thinking, with a maze/puzzle type format. Excitement builds as you try to obtain the treasure on your cards, but as the maze pattern continually moves and changes, you have to adapt and rethink your plan!
Raise your hand if you’re like me, and while you enjoy the traditional game of Monopoly, but avoid playing because it takes FOREVER to finish….like hours long! I don’t know about you, but who has that much time to start/finish an entire game of Monopoly?! Plus, not to mention – all the pieces! Well, fret no more. This card game version of Monopoly has been a complete game changer. While it varies a little from the original, it is quite similar, just without a game board and all the houses/hotels. You can bring it anywhere with you and it’s SO MUCH FUN! My 8 year old loves playing this with us, and you really can finish a game in under 20 minutes. This is a must-have!
Get ready to LAUGH! This is one of my family’s most favorite games to play when we are all together. This is charades, but backwards….and oh is it FUN!! You can into teams (be creative with how you group) and there is 1 person guessing while everyone else on the team is acting out the cards. Like charades, you act out the word, but have to try and coordinate on the spot with your other teammates to get the guesser to figure out the card. It’s hilarious and a total blast to play! The only age restriction here is you need to be able to read!
This is truly a game where the WHOLE family can participate. You can make it simple enough for a 3-4 year old to join and play. My daughter loves rolling the dice. Just keep it simple with selecting one number to roll. To make it more exciting for older kids and adults, use the challenge cards. There are ENDLESS ways to play this game and it never gets old. Again, it’s super easy to travel with….take it anywhere, just be aware of noise levels 🙂
Uno will always be a traditional game that everyone enjoys playing! This version, Uno attack, creates fun elements of surprise and loads of laughter. While you think you’ve almost won the game, be careful of a sneak “attack”.
This game is great for pre-teens and older kids, along with adults. It’s fun to try and see what others think, especially if it’s along the same lines as you! This is a simple and easy game to play, but creates a lot of fun making lists that hopefully match your opponents. The more alike you think, the more points you earn!
This might be a tie with Rollick for the game that will make you laugh the most! The good ole game of telephone has been amplified! All you need is something to write and draw with, and from there, let the creativity flow! You don’t have to be good at drawing, as it really makes the end result that much more hilarious. This is most often a top pick at family game nights, always ending in fits of laughter!
The G.O.A.T – yep, that’s right…the Greatest of All Time! In this game, you will vote for other players that you think will be the G.O.A.T. at the description on the card. It will be an activity or challenge of some type to perform/complete. Players will then make their best attempt at that task and the rest of the team will vote on who was the G.O.A.T for that assignment. This game brings out fun, silliness, and a whole lot of laughing! Get ready for some friendly competition with this gem!
While this is a solitaire game, meant to be played independently, it is one that our whole family really gets into. It requires mental focus, strategy, logic and out of the box thinking! The cards offer setups for beginner level all the way to mastery levels. It’s a great STEM type of game for both kids and adults.
