L.O.V.E

After a terrible experience with our wedding photographer, we decided to take on TRASH THE DRESS.  For those of you who are new to this term, it’s not as bad as it sounds 🙂    It’s actually a total blast!!  We wanted so badly some pictures of us that we could frame and put somewhere in our new house.  To our disappointment, sadly, we didn’t get any quality pics from our actual wedding day.  So, a few months after, we decided to go have some fun!!  Our TTD photo session was interesting…..fun, but definitely involved a blend of emotions.  Many times, you felt awkward and somewhat silly.  You would think, “You can’t be serious….you want me to do that…..well, that’s kinda…..I don’t know….weird?!”   But, after we realized that no one was really going to be watching us, it took off from there and we let loose!  It’s pretty invigorating to just go play in dress up clothes.  I didn’t feel like I was ruining my dress……I felt like I was creating memories in it, ones I would never forget and always have etched in my mind……it was so much fun to go and play and be carefree!   After the first 30 minutes or so, we realized that we can relax, loosen up, and ham it up!   We visited a hotel, horse stable, prairie area, railroad tracks, a convenient store, and a fountain.  Kyle’s patience started to wear after the 137th time he had to kiss me 🙂  I understood!   He was definitely a trooper throughout! I know MOST men would have to be dragged to do something like this.  I couldn’t pay my dad or two brothers to ever do something like this……well, Matt, maybe…..just maybe.  He always had that “weird, quirky” tendency about him……I mean, we ARE twins!   Hah….love ya Matty…….it’s a compliment……really, HONESTLY! 🙂     Now, Rob…….not a chance (He’s my older brother).    Anyways……I’m so grateful that we now have photographs that will help us to remember such a wonderful moment in our life!   It’s kind of like the Darius Rucker song where he says, “Thanks God for all I missed, cuz it led me here to this!”   It was easy to become upset and discouraged when my original pics didn’t turn out how I had hoped or planned.  Rather then let it get the best of us and just sulk over the situation, we were led to a better opportunity.  What can I say…we are pretty fortunate 🙂
Here is Batch #1……too many to fit into one post.  So, enjoy and the rest will be on their way soon!

 And……..somebody’s a creeper!!!!!!
I guess we are in HIS territory….

Until next time……..
