Mother’s Day is a week away and it’s time to think about that special lady in your life. Whether it may be your own mom, grandmother, aunt, a friend, or someone who has played the role of “mom” in your life, it’s important that you reach out and let her know how special she is to you and the impact she has had on your life!!
I know…buying gifts for multiple people can become expensive. Flowers, manis/pedis, brunch, perfume…..none of these are cheap. But remember, Mother’s Day is a time to be thoughtful. An easy way to let each lady feel loved is by creating your own gift jars. Fill them with her favorite candy, small items following a color scheme, etc.
Add a cute printable tag and you’re all set!

Some mamas are more girly and appreciate the PINK! If this is the case, you can find this adorable pink checker topped mason jar at the dollar section of Target right now! All you have to do is grab a bag of the Starburst FaveReds bag (yes, it’s amazing….only the pink and reds are within the bag!!) and fill up the jar. It’s inexpensive but cute!
If she doesn’t care too much for pink, it’s okay! The Target dollar section also has mason jar cups in a pretty teal/green color. To fill up this jar, I bought a bag of the MINT flavored M&Ms. For either jar, you can download the matching circular tag FOR FREE! Just poke a pin through the tag and string through a piece of twine or yarn.
Simply tie it around the lid and you’re set!
While these can be given to someone on Mother’s Day, it really can be used for any special occasion. The “Oh Happy Day” tags are universal and can be used with any gift.
These gift jars cost just about $5 and are super simple to make! If you find yourself looking for gift ideas last minute, no need to worry.
This little gift takes no time at all to put together.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the hard working, devoted mamas out there!
You deserve far more than a little jar full of goodies, but hopefully this makes you smile.
