We all have things we like to celebrate…perhaps favorites like National Taco Day or International Coffee Day. But, one I think we should never go without is Teacher Appreciation Day/Week. YES…teachers deserve an entire week! Whether it’s a handmade card, flowers from your garden, a gift card, or a sweet treat, the thought goes a long way! Teachers spend more time with your child than anyone else, aside from family. Their impact is monumental! Let a teacher know just how much he/she means to you with this simple gift!
As many of you know, it’s not just one teacher that deserves praise and gratitude. You have Music, Art & PE teachers, social workers, speech paths, school pyschologists, special education teachers and aides, among others! If your child is in middle or high school, there are a multitude of staff that lean in and love on your kids, day in and day out. But, it all adds up quick, I get it. So, to recognize as many of them as possible, this gift idea can be made as simple or elaborate as you choose!
LEVEL 1: Put together a bag of candy with the coordinating printable tag. I mean, how cute are these mini milk chocolate globe candies? Plus, who doesn’t love chocolate?
LEVEL 2: To take it one step further, you can add these adorable key chains to the mix. Going along wit the words on the tag, “You mean the WORLD to your students, Thank you for GUIDING and teaching me.”, I included a compass (with thank you charm) and globe key chain. Hopefully, this will serve as a daily reminder that their job truly matters!
The GLOBE CANDY PACK comes in a 1lb bag for $12. This allowed me to fill 4 bags of candy for $3 each. Add the COMPASS keychain ($7.50) and the GLOBE keychain ($5.50) for a cute present under $20 total!
LEVEL 3: To make this a more elaborate gift, which I’m giving as an end of year present to my boys’ teachers, I chose to include this adorable book, Because I Had a Teacher! The best part is it was under $7!
I love that the first page has space for a special note to be handwritten from the child to teacher.
Each page has such colorful, cute illustrations…Here’s a look at some:
So whether you choose to gift these for Teacher Appreciation Week or as an End of School Year gift, know that you will be making someone feel valued!
With the book, bag of candy, and two keychains, the total amount rang in under $25! If you happen to spend more for their homeroom teachers, you can always throw in a gift card, too! Head to my ETSY shop (menu bar at top) to grab the coordinating gift tag! You get 4 on a page and write in your child’s name and child’s teacher name or year and grade at the bottom!

This gift showcases a simple yet delicious treat for teachers! The printable tags include 3 phrasing options: Thanks a ton, Happy 1st Day, & Happy Holidays! What better gift for Teacher Appreciation Day than a cookie with some coffee?!?
Speaking of coffee, how about a super cute YETI style tumbler (you can find them inexpensive at TJ Maxx, Hobby Lobby, Target….anywhere!) combined with a gift card and the cute sticker/tags to say, “I will miss you a whole LATTE” or “I want to say…thanks a whole LATTE.” Yes, love me a good pun or play on words. I was a teacher after all ;). Check out more details HERE!
Hats off to all you teachers! The end of the School year can be exhausting, so I hope you feel the love from the hearts you touch each day!
