So, this is something that’s been swirling around in my head for the past month. I’ve continuously thought to myself, “I’ll write when I have something good to say or when I have better pictures to post.” It seems as though I’m always waiting for the perfect time to do something. Why wait? If you do, moments pass you by that you can’t get back. Plus, life happens every second of every day. If I don’t make an account of it, how will I ever be able to remember the small things that go unnoticed. I often think that there will always be a next time, a tomorrow, or a better opportunity will present itself. A more creative idea will strike me and THEN I will write a new blog post. Well folks, it’s been over a month, and guess what. Yep, the perfect time hasn’t come. That’s because there is no “perfect” time. It’s when you MAKE the time. Make the time to do the things you love. Make the time to sit back and observe what’s going on around you. Making time is hard to do, but it’s necessary. So, I’m trying, attempting, and motivating myself to write on here more frequently. This isnt’ really for anyone but myself, because I will be able to go back and remember parts of my life through my writing. Spring has come, and with it, arrives many exciting things, things that make me SMILE, whether it be a vase of flowers, a puppy frolicing in the grass, the delicacy and unique details on a butterfly’s wings, or a myriad of colors that compose a breathtaking sunset in our Illinois sky.
There is never a perfect time

…….believe it or not, you don’t have to live in Florida to witness such a sight! Every day is the “perfect” time. There is always something to be appreciated. As summer approaches, I eagerly anticipate the time to be out in the sun, go on bike rides, sitting in the garage and watching the lightning flash across the sky on a rainy day, barbeques and kids splashing in swimming pools, the scent of campfires, sun-kissed skin with a hint of freckles (not mine though), my wedding and honeymoon, and all of the other exciting activities that summer claims! Well, let’s hear it……what do you childishly and anxiously await for this summer? What is it that you are most looking forward to?
