CALLING ALL SPORTS FANS!
In search of ideas for a sports themed party? You’ve come to the right place. Because I know how much time goes into planning these things, I wanted to share with you some fabulous freebies today. I have provided FREE printables to help you turn your child’s party into a huge HIT! (pun intended).
Trust me when I say that I fully understand how busy your days become.
Time is of the essence and making boards on Pinterest can become quite overwhelming…where the ideas are ENDLESS.
Most moms out there want to plan a cute and creative party for their child, but don’t want to empty the bank account when all is said and done.
Are you on a budget with little time to spare?
No worries…you’ve come to the right place.
If you already have an overflowing plate and can’t seem to find enough time to organize and plan the spectacular sports party you’ve envisioned for your little one….well, I sure hope this will help you out!!
To download and print any of the signs, labels, food cards, or posters you see below, head to the end of the post!

The favor bags I used can be found at your local Michaels store or online, too.

They come in a variety of colors!
Inside these favor bags were Big League Chew gum packets, sport themed rubber ducks, sport stress squish balls, and personalized mini-sized trophies! All of these items were purchased through Oriental Trading. I highly recommend purchasing through this company.

One simple way to add that special touch to a party is with a banner! This doesn’t have to be just for a birthday. You can make one for any holiday event! Simply drape a banner across your mantle….and switch it out as the seasons change! Banners are also a popular item for the “month by month”
photos of your baby’s first year.

Football and Hockey puck circular labels for free below!
To make the decorating process go as smoothly as possible, I printed out all labels and tags on full sheet (8.5×11) adhesive labels.

Once they were printed (best pricing I found was at Office Max), I cut out the
labels and peeled away the backing. Voila….no glue stick mess to deal with….just a sticker that goes on as easy as pie! Rather than cutting out each circle with scissors, this perfectionist found an amazing circle hole punch that helped save a ton of time! I used the 2.5 inch whole punch for the peanut and popcorn labels. I highly recommend getting THIS ONE!

If you would like to purchase a personalized Birthday Stat Poster, Customized Game Ticket Invitations, or Coordinating Thank You Cards (as shown above), please click on the “Contact” tab at the top to email me! You will be able to order prints for a birthday party, beginning or end of school year momentos, special celebration decor, or holiday subway art!
Aren’t these the cutest old school hot dog wrappers?
I found them at Pink Lemonade Party Shop on Etsy.
They added the perfect touch to the food table!

One of my favorite components of the entire party was Ethan’s photo collage wall. We took his first year photos a week prior and I had them printed to be displayed at his party. Thanks so much to My Ellabelle Photography for the amazing pictures she captured of our little man!
This balloon banner was such a no-fuss part to the display. Eliminate the tape. Forget needing anything but a piece of string or, in my case, red raffia ribbon (dollar section at Michaels….SCORE!).
It’s really quite simple. Blow up your balloons. Use a pin or anything sharp to poke a hole through the end of the tied knot portion of the balloon. Pull the string or ribbon through each balloon and there you have it!
A beautiful and festive ballon banner!
This was the perfect size for my son’s smash cake. It had a different sport ball on each of the four sides going around and his initial on top. Thank you to my super talented cousin, Katie, for making all of the adorable desserts, including this smash cake, the baseball cake pops, and sport ball cupcakes.
Be sure to check out her Facebook page – Sweet Designs Cake Decorating.
This adorable, personalized All-Star book was one of the gifts we gave to our son and had on display at the party! It is seriously too cute. They come in blue or pink. To take a peek at the pages inside, CLICK HERE.
This company also has many other story book options, including this absolutely adorable ABC BOOK , which serves as a great first birthday gift!
AND…. the star of the show!! How adorable is this little superstar?!?
So there you have it. You should be well equipped with all of the necessities for a spectacular sport themed party! I sure hope all of these goodies will help you save time and ENJOY it all!

Awesome post and thank you for the printables! What did you use for the golf balls?
Mini powdered donut holes are what I used for the golf balls 🙂
Hi! I can’t seem to gain access to the free printables either. I have subscribed to your page and have read the email carefully.
Hi, Sinduja! Thank you so much for stopping by Melly Moments. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced with accessing the printable archive. The place I always start with readers who encounter difficulty is making sure they entered the password with the first two letters uppercase/capitalized. This must happen in order for you to enter. If for some reason this does not help, I suggest copy/paste the password directly. I haven’t yet had anyone who was not able to get through once they tried this. Please let me know if you need additional help after this. I am here to make sure you are able to retrieve your free downloads, now and in the future 🙂 Enjoy!
I joined the email list and still don’t see how to get the email printables.
