I most definitely am! The transition between summer and fall is probably one of my favorite times of the year. Nature is in a complete stage of transformation. The myriad of colors that engulf you, plump pumpkins anxiously waiting to be carved by eager little kids, Sonny Acres where families spend the weekend, and the list goes on and on. This past weekend was full of fall fesitivities. My family went to Sonny Acres and it sure has changed since the times I went as a child. It’s amazing how much they have added!
When I was here, I felt like a kid all over again. The sweet scent of elephant ears and funnel cakes permeated the area. Laughter spread throughout. There were ponies to ride, swings to hop on, and of course, THE FUN SLIDE!
Sonny Acres never disappoints. MY niece and nephew had a field day here. It certainly was filled with fun!
As you look around during this time of year, there isn’t much you can’t appreciate! This weekend was crazy warm, which is very out of character for October! A light breeze was present and the sun was shining.
When you walk outside.
it’s as if a crayon box has taken over the world….
splashing color everywhere!
You just can’t paint a picture as magnificent as all of this! The memories never fade, but a picture someday will!
Until next time…
