She is 37 years old.
A mother of two. A daughter. A sister. A friend. A fierce fighter.
Her name is Randalynn and she is the reason today matters.
It is Monday, May 8th….World Ovarian Cancer Awareness Day.
In honor of her and so many who are in the fight of their life, I am excited to announce this special giveaway to help spread awareness for Ovarian Cancer!
My SIL was diagnosed in January and has been battling with optimism and strength ever since. Her main mission is to help other women know more about this disease, its signs/symptoms, and increase the chances of early detection! She shares loads of information, resources, and personal stories/experiences over at her blog, Kick Ovarian Cancer!
To raise awareness, she and I sport our Black Clover LIVE LUCKY hats….because not only are they insanely comfortable, but they are teal, which is the color of the Ovarian Cancer ribbon. And today, you have a chance to win one of these awesome caps!
This journey has been a humbling one for our entire family, and I can only imagine how much this life event has transformed her! To walk boldly into the world without hair, scars visibly showing, and a weakened body is something only the confident and courageous are able to do. She has two very important reasons why she never gives up fighting, no matter how hard the battle becomes…
Her kids.
They are what motivate her on the hardest of days. They are the reason she gets up and keeps going, even when she is drained of all energy. They are why she fights!
Ovarian cancer is something that all women…..moms, daughters, grandmothers, friends, family, and neighbors should know about! It has been coined the “silent killer” for a reason, because so many of the symptoms go undetected, are masked as something else, or only reveal themselves once the cancer cells have already spread! It’s SO incredibly important that we learn more about Ovarian Cancer because many will ignore the signs our bodies give us. We need to be equipped with knowledge that may help save a life or eventually find a cure!
Each and every day, I remind myself that I am beyond LUCKY to LIVE! What a gift it truly is!
Please join me and my SIL in raising awareness for Ovarian Cancer. Save and share this image on your social media outlets to get the information out there! YOU have the power to change lives!
And don’t forget to enter for your chance to win the TEAL THEMED GIFT PACKAGE, which includes a Black Clover LIVE LUCKY hat, Rae Dunn ‘Friend’ coffee mug, inspirational journal and desk sign!
Winners will be announced next week, so be sure to check back 🙂
