Easter is on its way and I have another little gem to share with you today! I made this cute door hanger using my Silhouette Cameo….and I just can’t seem to get enough of it. After my friend, Christine, over at Where the Smiles Have Been shared her adorable Sleeping Baby Door Hanger, I decided to give it a whirl and make something to ring in a new season! If you haven’t stopped by her blog yet, you NEED to ASAP.
Trust me, she has tons and tons of fabulous DIY projects with simple tutorials to follow. She is one of my favorite bloggers and you don’t want to miss out on her creativity!
So, what better way to help your kids get into the Easter spirit than by visiting a friend or neighbor’s house and leaving them an exciting surprise!
It requires hardly any work on your part. All you need to do is grab 10 plastic eggs and fill them up with little goodies. Then, you simply leave this hanger on their door and hide the eggs somewhere in their yard. It’s a fun way to spend time with your kids.
Because…who doesn’t love surprising someone?!
For the best quality, I printed on business cardstock paper (at Office Depot…they are fantastic!) and then had the card laminated to make sure it is waterproof.
Don’t forget to tape this “I GOT EGGED” sign to the front door
so everyone knows your house has been visited.
DOOR HANGER (OUTDOOR)
To those of you that don’t have kids, but would still like to join in on the fun…
NO WORRIES…you still can! I have also created a Teacher/Office environment door tag. This is a much simpler version, as all you need to do is fill one plastic egg and download the door hanger and sign! You can make the work environment an exciting place to be!
